Supporting The Little Heroes Cancer Trust

Supporting Little Heroes through sponsorship

Every company has a cause which they are passionate about, and here at Fruition we are no exception to the rule. If you haven’t heard of Little Heroes yet, then please read on to find out more. Little Heroes is a Leeds-based charity that works miracles when it comes to supporting children and their families through the devastating effects of cancer.

About Little Heroes

The Children's cancer ward at St James Hospital in Leeds is one of the leading cancer treatments centers in Yorkshire. It is full of amazing children whose strength in such horrible situations touches everyone. Despite all of this, it's their brave smiles and the innocent trust that they radiate

These are the Little Heroes with cancer, who inspire all of us, to do everything we can to make their stay in hospital as comfortable as possible until they're healthy again. They are the reason why the charity ‘Little Heroes’ was set up, to support them through this difficult time.

Imagine when a child is undergoing treatment, they feel downhearted and frightened. However, if the child can be given a toy or gift, and cheered up, they will smile. Even if the smile is short-lived, it brightens their day and makes things seem much better. Our goal is to make every single child on the cancer ward smile, at least once a month, by providing toys and treats for them to make their life better. When someone is smiling they lighten up the room, change the moods of others, and make things happier. A smiling person brings happiness with them.

How Fruition are supporting Little Heroes

We want to help Little Heroes to make people happier and brighter when they undergo their cancer treatment. To this end, we will be sponsoring a fundraiser in Bingley on August 29th, to raise money for the charity. The local music event will be held at Bradford & Bingley Rugby club, on Wagon Lane. With twenty-two bands performing, it promises to be a superb event.

Fruition will be sponsoring the event, in addition to donating ten studio shoots as prizes for people who come along. We’re looking forward to seeing Little Heroes generate as much revenue as possible to help them in the important work that they do for children in the Leeds area. Come along and lend your support to the cause, and get a great night of music at the same time.
