How an interest in photography came to Fruition

Picture the scene:
A small garage workshop, with a keen photographer.
A space so small that the photographer had to step outside to take any pictures.
A passion for creative imagery, fashion and great customer service.

This is the origin of Fruition, and how our company started up four years ago. Jonathan, our Style Director and founder, set up in a tiny space and was completely committed to growing an outstanding photography company that would revolutionise the way people captured their memories.

Within six months Jonathan’s business had grown to the extent that he could move to a small shop, using the local village hall as a studio!

Growing the initial business

Fruition grew in popularity from there, mostly by word of mouth when people realised that Jonathan was good at what he did.

Last June, after a long search for the ideal premises to upgrade, we came upon a derelict old mill that was sorely in need of some careful renovation. Even though the building had no windows, and was a permanent home for a number of pigeons, we saw the potential of the airy space and spent two months doing it up.

Finally, we were able to open its doors, and our current studio was born.

It’s no good having the perfect premises if you don’t have the right team to make a great business, so we started to hunt out a talented photographer to join the ranks. By chance, we were introduced to the creative and inspirational Paul Jacklin.

After a preliminary chat, we did a test shoot. The outcome was breathtaking, so Paul joined us straight away! We feel lucky to have Paul as part of the team. Having worked with Venture for three years, he knew the photography business inside out and quickly became promoted to Studio Manager to take care of our processes. Since then, Paul has become our Creative Director, bringing a fresh and edgy twist to our compositions.

Turning a pipedream idea into a flourishing, well-respected company

As Jonathan continued to undertake wedding packages for happy couples, it soon became apparent that Fruition’s creative approach and customer service was very different to other companies.

We specialise in providing modern, edgy images for people which really capture the spirit of the day. Our studio photography, similarly, marks us out as being unique in terms of creative output and artistic direction.

Our studio today reflects our position as creative and professional photographers.

Light, airy spaces and a welcoming atmosphere mean that our subjects are put at ease and we have the resources to capture the perfect image, every time.

We’re very proud of our beginnings as a small company which is growing every day, due to the great people we have worked with over the years, who recommend our services.

We believe that great customer service should lie at the heart of everything we do, and the fact that we are now busy every day of the week, with weddings booked all over the world, shows that we have finally realised the dream which started out in a dingy garage four years ago!

Everything comes to Fruition......
